There is so much change that comes with moving into fall. Cooler weather, falling leaves, brisk winds. October always feels like a beautiful reminder to slow down and think about what we are thankful for.

As I reflect on this month, one of the things I’m especially grateful for is you—my patients.

Thank you for trusting me with your care, for allowing me to work with you, and for being part of the Barrow Family Chiropractic community. Every person who walks through mydoor has a different story, different experiences and a different body communicating itsneeds. It is a privilege to be able to listen and work alongside you.

One of the things I love most about chiropractic is that it is truly hands-on.

My hands allow me to feel what your body is communicating—to assess movement, tension and areas that may not be functioning as freely as they could. But there is also something deeper about that human touch. It creates connection.

When I place my hands on you, I’m not simply working with or focusing on just your spine.I’m working with YOU as a whole person. Connecting with not only the physical body but with the multiple layers of who you are. The physical, emotional, and energetic layers. I assess how these layers are affecting you and then decide how I can help create better communication allowing the body to function as an entire system.

Think about everything it does for you without you even having to ask—breathing, moving, healing, adapting, carrying you through your busy days and allowing you to experience life.

It can be easy to focus on what our bodies aren't doing well, especially when we are experiencing discomfort. But perhaps October is a good time to shift that perspective and appreciate all the things our bodies are doing for us.

And from me to you, thank you.

Thank you for your continued trust, your patience, your support and for allowing me to be a small part of your health journey. I never take that trust for granted.

I am incredibly thankful for each and every one of you.
